College Q&A Recruiting Seminars 2/10/25 & 2/17/25

At Coppermine Soccer Club, we are committed to providing our athletes and families with every opportunity to succeed, both on and off the field. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce two exclusive College Q&A Sessions with college soccer coaches Ted Zingman from Dickinson College and Shane Kohler from Virginia Wesleyan University. These sessions, scheduled for February 10 and February 17, 2025, are designed to give parents and players insights into the college recruiting process, directly from the experts who shape the future of student-athletes.

Why These Sessions Are a Game-Changer

The college recruiting process can be daunting for both players and their families. With so many factors to consider—academic requirements, athletic evaluations, scholarship opportunities, and program fit—it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Coaches Zingman and Kohler with their extensive experience in college athletics and recruiting, are uniquely qualified to provide insight into the process and provide actionable advice tailored to our families needs.

On February 10, 2025, Coach Ted Zingman, Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Dickinson College, will share his insights. With over a decade of coaching experience, including leading the Red Devils to their best season in program history and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in the NCAA Tournament, Coach Zingman knows what it takes to succeed at the collegiate level. His expertise extends beyond the field, as he has guided countless student-athletes through the recruiting process, helping them secure spots at top-tier programs.

Then, on February 17, 2025, Coach Shane Kohler, Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Virginia Wesleyan University, will take the stage. In his second season with the Marlins, Coach Kohler has already made a significant impact, leading the team to a 9-1-2 record and setting ambitious goals for ODAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. His hands-on approach to recruiting and player development ensures that families receive practical, real-world advice on navigating the college soccer landscape.
