4 Week Session B: February 4 – February 25
A 4 week program designed to teach and reinforce the fundamentals of Goalkeeping. Keepers will participate in sessions focused on player development including footwork, catching, diving, angle play, the proper warm-up, crosses, communication and more. Keepers will leave sessions with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a mastery of goalkeeping.
- Week One – Footwork, Catching, The Warm-up, Low-ball diving, Angle Play
- Week Two – Collapse diving, Mid & High-ball diving
- Week Three – Crosses, Boxing, 1v1, Break a way technique
- Week Four – Distribution, Putting it all Together, Applying in Game Situations
