Coppermine United Women's former player Carly Wetzel @carlyw_34 has signed a professional contract with Athlone Town AFC @athlonetownafc in the 1st Division in Ireland .
She has been part of Coppermine United since the start from 2018 to 2022 Season, contributing to the team's overall record of 42-1-0 in 5 seasons.
- 2021 UWS-2 MID Atlantic Conference Title
- 2022 UWS-1 MID Atlantic Conference Champions and 2022
- UWS-1 East Conference Championship Finalists.
Carly moved to Ireland in 2023 with the ambition to become a professional player. She trained with the team in 2023 for a few weeks to keep her form.
